Our friendly team,
skilled in the art of Montessori learning
teach with passion and love...
As a qualified early years Montessori teacher, I graduated from the esteemed North American Montessori Center in 2000. As a hands-on mother of three I have also been inspired to study nutrition (as well as the importance of it) and am passionate about education, understanding the importance of early childhood education for further success in life. I founded La Petite Ecole in 2016, combining my previous experience and skill as an international lawyer with my love of education, continuing to ensure that excellence is provided for every one of our young students in all areas of their well-being, nutrition, academic and social development.
Lead teacher - Ages 18 months to 3 years
As the lead teacher of our "Lavender" class, I have been passionate about education since a young age, inspired by my my grandfather, a dedicated school principal.
I have extensive experience as a teacher having worked for many years in Milan, Bucharest and Monaco. I began my Montessori journey after the birth of my son when I decided to pursue a new career path in a Montessori school in Milan.
My love for children inspires my work and my belief is that each child embodies a unique and wonderful personality.
I am very fortunate to spend my time with our young children; nothing gives me more pleasure than to see the joy and wonder on a child’s face when they accomplish something.
I aspire to see our little ones grow into adults who are happy, independent, responsible, and compassionate. When children receive a strong foundation-quality education coupled with a safe and loving home environment, they stand an excellent chance of reaching their full potential as human beings, ready to take on every challenge that comes in their way!
Assistant teacher - Ages 18 months to 3 years
A study of child psychology, coupled with my own personal experience, inspired me to work and graduate in the field of early childhood development.
Over time, I have learned how critical it is to provide a healthy and peaceful environment for every child to realise and unleash his or her potential.
I love simplicity and nature, two things that I find in our school. Here at La Petite Ecole we provide a wonderful environment that is highly conducive to learning, while respecting the pace and needs of each and every one of our children.
I love to see the smiles that appear on their faces, moments of sharing and exchange, the priceless innocence... All these little things constantly remind me why I love my career in early-years education so much.
Teacher - Ages 3 to 6 years
Certified by the esteemed North American Montessori Center (NAMC) as an early childhood teacher, I have been a Certified Elementary Teacher, since 2003 starting my career in NY State, USA. With a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Elementary Literacy I understand the young mind well, enabling me to bring out the best in every child in my care.
I strive to build a positive learning community, as well as an atmosphere of respect, fairness, and kindness. I teach my students to support and encourage each other and contribute to a positive learning environment, fostering a sense of belonging amongst all, one which values individual difference.
I believe schools should be a fun, safe, growing, loving, sharing, learning, hands-on place to be. My aim is to create a learning environment in which students look forward to coming to school each and every day.
Teacher - Ages 3 to 6 years
As a graduate of the highly regarded L’Institute Supérieur Maria Montessori in 2011, I am an experienced Montessori educator specialising in children from 3 to 6 years. My mother tongue is French, so I help develop French language skills in our children from an early age.
The training that I have achieved – coupled with the approach of Montessori philosophy for the child and the role that I can have with them – has given me a skill that I treasure.
I love to be able to share Montessori learning methods with my class and exchange one to one time with them, allowing me to be attentive to their expectations and teach skilfully according to the respective levels of each and every child.
I believe that our children today will be the great of tomorrow. My role therefore, is to help them make them open-minded and confident in whatever they may wish to undertake.
La Petite Ecole offers every child in our school the opportunity to develop and build at their own pace. Our children enjoy endless playful exchanges with their class mates, encouraged and supported by our team throughout every day. We actively encourage communication and learning in order to progress every child’s self-esteem and personal development.
Administrator and Receptionist
As a mother of four children (and grandmother of two!), the education and well-being of my children has always been at the centre of my life. I firmly believe in the importance of conveying passion, trust and benevolence, as well as the importance of believing in oneself and your endeavours. Our school conveys knowledge and skills but just as importantly it allows our children to build unconditional faith in themselves, to feel stronger and to reinvest what we provide.
Professionally, I enjoy a Baccalaureate plus 2 from Paris in Administration and am tri-lingual, fluent in French, English and German.
